DAWN GREEN, p.g.a., is a New York based filmmaker and documentarian. In May 2010, Dawn received an MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory. She has produced several short films including LE JEU DES SOLDATS (The Soldier Game), which won first place in the 2011 BAFTA/LA Student Film Festival and was a national finalist for the 38th Annual Student Academy Awards competition, and GO FOR GRANDMA (2023), which received acclaim for its beautiful animation and visual effects. Her work in television has included shows for the SyFy Channel and the Oxygen Network. Dawn is currently directing SHELTERING LOVE, a feature documentary about her own experiences as a caregiver for her Norwegian mother with Alzheimer’s. Dawn is also directing a short documentary called THE FARM OPTION, which explores caregiving in Norway. Prior to her entering the entertainment business, Dawn was a Lecturer at Stanford University where she taught Italian literature and film courses. Dawn has a Ph.D. in Italian Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BA from Brandeis University in English and Creative Writing.
