SUMMARY:Klintetten  | Swedish Culture Night
DESCRIPTION:The Swedish music group Klintetten\, together with award winning folkdancers\, will be performing their only show in New York City on Thursday\, October 3rd\, 2024\nThey end their two week USA trip to Seattle\, Minneapolis and Washington DC with a stop in New York City. On Oct. 3rd\, following their performance\, there will be a wine & cheese reception in the church’s Trygve Lie Art Gallery. \nWith numerous world tours\, Klintetten has also taught many workshops in Sweden\, Norway\, Japan and the USA. This group of 16 seasoned musicians and dancers have released 4 albums\, and the dancers include first place winners of the Hälsinge Hambo competition\, Schottis & “Bugg” Contests\, popular in Sweden. \nSponsors are the American Scandinavian Society and the Vasa Order of America\, Lodge Lindbergh #505. \n  \nDetails\nTIME & DATE: Oct. 3\, 2024\, Performance 6:30-7:30pm\, followed by Reception and Raffle for special prizes \nLOCATION: Norwegian Seamen’s Church 317 E. 52nd St. (btwn. 1st & 2nd Ave.)\, NYC 10022 \nTICKETS: $20 for adults and children under 16 years of age free. Tickets will also be available at the door\, however space is limited\, so please purchase ahead of time to ensure you can attend.
