DESCRIPTION:The American Scandinavian Society proudly announces that our President\, Lars Nilsen will be the Grand Marshall of this year’s Norwegian American 17th of May Parade.\nThe 71st Parade will be held on Sunday\, May 18\, 2025\, starting at 1:30 PM in Bay Ridge\, Brooklyn NY. We will be commemorating the 211th Anniversary of the signing of Norway’s Constitution!\nThis year’s theme is “Celebrating Norwegian Immigration 1825-2025”. Congratulations to Lars!!!\n  \nDetails: \nMore information on the parade: 17thofmayparadecommittee-brooklyn.org \nSunday\, May 18th 2025 \nThe parade will kick off at 1:30 pm\, starting in Bay Ridge\, Brooklyn NY at 85th Street and marching along 3rd Avenue\, turning up 75th Street to 5th avenue to 67th Street.
