Eeppi Ursin is a platinum-selling, award-winning singer-songwriter, composer-arranger, jazz vocalist and pianist originally from Finland. She has released four solo albums: Speechless (2022), Jäljet (2017), Yellow Page Girl (2009) and Violet (2005). The discography will be continued with My Finnish Soul to be released in January 2023.
Eeppi is also known as a versatile artist with collaborations and performances worldwide as a vocalist, composer and musician in Jazz, Pop, A Cappella and Modern Opera. She has performed at prestigious venues and festivals with acclaimed artists such as trumpeter Leroy Jones and Spirit of New Orleans, Vocal Ensemble Club For Five and UMO Jazz Orchestra, to name a few. Eeppi also collaborates as a composer and arranger with renowned theatres and modern opera ensembles like Ooppera Skaala – the leading Finnish contemporary opera ensemble. Eeppi also appears as a guest vocalist on numerous albums and gold- and platinum-selling recordings.
In 2022 Eeppi was chosen as Performer of the Year by Finlandia Foundation National, which sent her on a long tour in the US. In 2014 she was chosen to perform as the soloist at the President’s Independence Day Reception in Finland and in 2001 she won the 1st prize in the Lady Summertime international jazz vocal competition.
