Data on the Defense: Understanding What Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Mean for You

Thursday, 29 September, 2022 | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

$25.00 – $35.00

You are invited to an evening with John D, a member of local law enforcement, to discuss the very real world of transnational organized cybercrime, how it impacts us, and what we can do to defend ourselves. Through entertaining stories and practical advice, John will illuminate this notoriously obscure, pervasive, and evolving criminal threat so that all may leave more educated, encouraged, and empowered to better secure their personal and sensitive data.

John D is a specialist in criminal investigations, cyber intelligence, and Russian language. He has worked at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for the past three years. Before that, John lived and worked across the former Soviet Union as a US Citizen Ambassador.
