Field of Art: Actress/Singer/Dancer
Hilde is a Norwegian actress and soprano. Additionally, she writes and translates songs, theatre and musical theatre pieces, dances and does modeling.
She got her Musical Theatre Certificate from the renowned Baardar Academy in Oslo, Norway, and her Acting Certificate from The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
New York productions include among others Holiday in Heaven, Killers and Other Family, Obama: At The Table, Love So Dear. Waiting For Lefty and Oedipus Rex in addition to several short films and music videos. She has performed frequently in The Norwegian Seamen’s Church both as singer and MC, created children’s theatre for The Norwegian School and been a vocalist in a rock band. In Norway, she did the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, When Midnight Strikes and A Chorus Line/Into The Woods, and has translated the productions Parade, Legally Blonde and Spelling Bee for professional Norwegian theatre companies.
Hilde is currently working on a solo performance based on pieces from Ibsen’s plays, and collaborating with composer Christian Stahr on new Musical Theatre productions as well as her own songs. She is also consistently training with her professional acting coach to expand her career further.
