Julia Korpinen is a Finnish actress, screenwriter, and producer currently pursuing an MFA in Film (Creative Producing) at Columbia University in New York. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Vaasa, bringing a strong business and industry perspective to her creative work.
Korpinen starred in the lead role of Conflict (2024), one of the largest television productions in Nordic history, which achieved record-breaking viewership in Finland and gained international success through Amazon Prime across multiple European markets.
Her work focuses on female-driven narratives and international storytelling, combining creative ambition with a practical understanding of production, financing, and audience strategy. Korpinen’s long-term goal is to build a transatlantic production platform connecting Nordic storytelling with the American film and television industry.
